ache: james carrington
valentine's day. it was good, for the most part.
skipped both of my classes to study for law
went to the 'rhythm nation, talent show', but it was pretty much brown night, as i only saw 2 acts performed by non-brown ppl. a bunch of us went to support david (my housemate) in his talent show, he had 2 acts, the first one was good, it was him doing his crazy raving glow sticks on strings act. and it was pretty good. you can youtube him if you want for his past stuff, it's pretty good, you can search 'dq raving individual' or 'dq styo and jaxx' or somethin. i dunno.
his second act was him singing you got it bad, by usher. and usually he doesnt sing that bad at all, like it;s not bad, but i guess he was really nervous, the a/v sound wasnt very good, his mic was too low for him, ppl were talking, and just altogether, it didnt sound..like his best at all. i kinda felt really bad for him, cause he can do so much better, and he was the only non-brown performance, pretty much. and the whole audience was brown and everything. i felt bad. but yeah they made his mic too low for him and that kinda messed things up as he was also really nervous too.
um but yeah after that i had work at the library and i tried to study too. ummm yeah i dont feel great about this law exam in 11 hours, but yeah afterwards, there's LCCF winter retreat which will be fun, and all star weekend.
apparently dee is supposed to talk to me about talking at retreat with evie as a mediator. but she hasnt even said anything, today at the talent show, i saw her when i entered and i said hi, and she looked at me like she didnt recognize me, paused, said hi, looked at me as if she wasnt sure who i was, then walked away. but yeah evie sent me an email saying dee wanted to all talk at winter retreat, but ESPECIALLY now, i dont want to. i wouldntve really wanted to in the first place, but now like..i really really dont want to.
and now it's late at night, i have a lot of studying to do and i just dont feel that great.
valentine's day sucks. it started off pretty ok, and i was pretty good, but it just ended crappy.
school freaking sucks, man. i friggin cant wait till reading week.
'have i told you i ache?'
